Bruce & Peta live in an idyllic setting in the South Downs in West Sussex.
We were the first in the country to offer Alpaca walking to the public (to our knowledge ) and use alpacas as therapy in care homes and hospices. Now copied by many.
We gave up our profession as Nurses to run our own herd of alpacas on our land in Adsdean Park.
Peta had always been a nurse and Bruce had spent 25 yrs in the Royal Navy Medical Service and later qualified as a Registered Nurse in Civvy St .
We have recently been joined by our daughter Amy who has taken on the role of Farm Manager. At Dunreyth Alpacas, each walker will lead their own alpaca.
SEE WALKS & BOOKINGS PAGE FOR DETAILS.
An Alpaca walking Experience second to none.
We aim to breed friendly alpacas in a variety of colours for their fibre and the manufacture of unique hand knitted garments which can be purchased from our onsite shop.
2023 was a busy year for us and the Alpacas. Pet-a-Paca (Therapy Alpacas ), visits to Hospices, Care homes and Rest/Care Homes have remained very popular and double the amount of visits had taken place .
Corporate alpaca experiences (Team building) has become very popular with several large & small local companies taking part .
Attendances at weddings have increased substantially from our 2016 start and we have engaged with several large wedding companies to facilitate weddings at their venues .
We have had the pleasure of greeting many more visitors from all around the UK , as people have chosen to visit attractions in the UK (Staycations ) .
We again can look forward to seeing visitors from near and far and all are welcome .
