What a wonderful birthday treat. The farm was clean and we found very easy to find, but the instructions that the owners gave in their email were ver y helpful. We had a very clear and useful health and safety talk before the alpacas we allowed to pick their walkers. Beautiful stroll through woodlands to a point where there was a stunning view of the Isle of Wight. We were given feed to treat the alpacas and a photo session. I loved this experience, the owners were friendly and welcoming, facilities available and the animals were just out of this world.

We had a lovely time walking the alpacas this morning. The staff were friendly, really informative and the alpacas were well behaved and quite comical too.
We had a beautiful day for it, walked slowly for about half an hour where we then hand fed the alpacas and got to see some beautiful views before walking back down to the farm.
Would definitely recommend, it’s a lovely thing to do.

Lovely morning with the alpacas. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Really well organised. Will definitely return!

Was the best experience ever I went in May with a friend & my alpaca was Ivan the Great as I named him He was adorable despite the heavy downpour. To me it mattered not it was heavenly Thanks to Peta & Bruce & the young lady that led the walk, for their amazing nurturing & care for these magnificent animals.

My mum and I had a lovely morning walking Inca and Abraxas! Very enjoyable walk along the woods and amazing views to see in a very friendly atmosphere. They were so well behaved and made us laugh along the way, even giving them treats at the half way point was just adorable! We will definitely be returning in the future

We were met with a warm welcome and what a wonderful experience and a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. The alpacas were so friendly and calm, there were 8 of us all with an alpaca each, there was plenty of laughter the scenery was also very beautiful Would highly recommend and will be going back ??

After dropping lots of hints my kids finally treated me to an alpaca walking experience today, and it was everything I hoped it would be. Our apacas Horatio and Jazz were perfect gents. Our group of 7 was perfect, very personal and unrushed and the route we took was very scenic. On returning to the farm we enjoyed learning about the care of these beautiful animals, and the shearing, and wool process. Thank you Bruce & Co !

Went for a walk with the lovely Alpacas with my wife, brother and sister-in-law this morning. It happened to be the hottest April day since 1949 but it was a really great experience. Our two alpacas, Alfie and Gizmo were lovely gentle boys with wonderful temperaments. Bruce and Peta were so knowledgeable and informative, they really love their alpacas and alwaya put their welfare first. Would recommend this fantastic experience to everyone. Just a shame they are not supported by the local parish council. What a great asset to the local community!

Long overdue visit to see the alpacas and to get more info. Will be booking a walk for my next visit. Such a lovely friendly place in beautiful surroundings. Loved every minute and bought some lovely alpaca wool items in the shop.

What a lovely afternoon, had the most brilliant time. Lovely staff. Each alpaca has such different characters. Our Alpaca Inka was a bit of a handful but made our day even better. He was a born leader. If you don't drive (like us) can be a bit costly. (About £15 by taxi from station each way) but it was worth every penny to spend a good couple of hours with lovely animals. Thanks a lot for making my partners birthday a special one. Was one to remember. Would recommend highly to anyone. All the best

found this through Google and thought it would be an excellent surprise for my son on his 18th birthday and something the whole family could do. The experience is well worth while. The alpacas are so gentle and calm and we all enjoyed every minute of the walk. All the staff were really friendly and attentive. I thoroughly recommend this as a treat for anyone who wants to do something a little different.

I have very great friends, who live in Chichester and I wanted to find a different and interesting present for them ! After searching through the internet, this experience really stood out - fabulous creatures and a glorious walk across the South Downs !
I phoned the extremely helpful owners, to see if they would do a gift voucher for my friends, so that I could send it to them from France. This was all sorted out with no trouble.
My friends went on the walk last weekend and, as soon as they got back home, my phone was ringing ! They absolutely adored it all - the animals were gorgeous, all with differing personalities and traits - and the walk through the woodland was beautiful.
I am sure they won't mind if I say they were older ladies but they said that this would be a brilliant experience for all age groups.
My friend bough some mitts made from the alpacas' wool and they were told all about the shearing process, the cleaning of the wool etc, etc.
The greatest recommendation was that they all said that they would definitely do it again and will be recommending it to all their friends.
I can't wait for my visit to the Uk next year, when I will be cuddling an alpaca myself !!!

This experience was everything as advertised. Our alpacas were unbelievably soft to touch, didn't mind being stroked on their neck and happily went for their walk. Having them eat their turn-round treat out of our hands was lovely. They are frightened of anything and everything: other people, bicycles, dogs.... So you are reassuring your animal as well as walking. Soft hand knitted items to buy afterwards as well.

My boyfriend organised for us to visit Dunreyth alpacas whilst we were staying nearby and to my utter surprise he proposed whilst we were on the alpaca walk! It was simply amazing and Bruce & Peta were fantastic.

Peta had helped him to organise the proposal and even bought a bottle of my favourite champagne for us to enjoy after the walk, nothing was too much trouble and they were so hospitable.

The alpacas are gorgeous creatures, very fluffy to stroke and we had a great time walking them, I particularly enjoyed Baron throwing himself into the bushes from time to time to have a good scratch. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the alpacas clearly have a wonderful life there.

We couldn't recommend Dunreyth enough, it will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we'd urge anyone to visit.

We walked these lovely, gentle alpacas through beautiful countryside and it was a memory to treasure. We were a mixed group of adults and children and we all loved it. After a friendly and useful introduction by Bruce we were off leading these gorgeous creatures through the woods. The staff were all exceptional and the whole thing was a joy from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Wow - from the moment we pulled up we were in love. The Alpacas were beautiful, friendly and so well cared for. There were 4 of us and we had an Alpaca to walk each, Bruce did a health and safety talk, took us for fabulous views and went at our mixed abilities pace. One of the party (who's Birthday treat it was) adopted an Alpaca and we had photos too. Peta went through the fleece and was so informative we loved it. Can't wait to visit again. I will even be looking to take our care home residents as they would love it for therapy too. Amazing chilled experience.

Me and my boyfriend came here as a surprise for his birthday , it was something very different and we both enjoyed it. The owners are very passionate and knowledgeable about the alpacas. We arrived and were shown our alpacas, we then went on a 45 minute walk with them around the surrounding country side. Once we got back we had a look in the gift shop which was great, we both bought a mug with a photo of the same alpacas which we had walked, this was a great touch. I would highly recommend this experience to all age groups if you fancy something a little different and memorable. if you are using a sat nav then beware as it may take you to the wrong place. Thank you for a great experience.

Get away from it all...”

Get away from it all... by taking an alpaca for a walk. That's how wifey and I summed things up when we booked our walking sessions. Worth every penny and set in beautiful country surroundings. The owners Bruce and Peta are very knowledgeable and engaging which made our morning visit an occasion to remember. We took Baron and Dartagnon for a scenic 50 minute walk and discovered how alpacas are generally very well behaved animals. Great for adults and kids. Drinks and light snacks available along with toilets and a shop selling items made from alpaca wool. Before you set off to visit, use a map website (like google maps) so you know where you're going as its a little off the beaten track and they're not allowed to erect signage. Well worth a visit and we hope to visit again soon.
